Tadpoles, tushies and tables

The kitchen table, everything gets dumped there. Ten tadpoles, big ones, little ones, along with swamp water and water fleas, and pregnant snails. More wild life than hubby wants, but tolerates it as long as he can ignore it. This is where Hannah comes in, she has climbed up on the table and played splish splash with the little tadpoles and snails more than once. Dear Sarah reminded me to say that. ;o) If you listen to the video you hear her singing in the background. Hannah joins in for a few notes, too.
As for tushies, that would be Hannah. She learned to climb out of her playpen a month or so after we brought it home for her. We were able to distract her from doing so for a year, but well we knew it wouldn't contain her for long. She started to climb up to the table then onto the table. Out of her highchair then into her highchair. After a while she hated being in the highchair so we switched her to a booster seat at the table. Well, after breakfast I assigned a little schoolwork, gave Hannah a paper to draw on. Well, they say a picture is worth a thousand words, right? You be the judge.
.
She continued to go back to that spot even after removing her several times. Had to distract her with something else while big brother, there, finished his work.

Hi, I don't know if anybody is reading this, but I just would just like to put a few thoughts down. My son has a song stuck in his head and has not stopped singing it. It's not even the whole song, just parts of it. It is so annoying, but we've all had that happen. Yelling for him to stop only makes him sing louder and longer. Ugh. Now are you wondering what the song is? Well, it is Spinning Wheel from Earth, Wind and Fire. Great song, but not when you hear it in bits and hums and or the same bit over and over and over and oh you get the picture. He likes to do the same with the Doctor Who and Quantum Leap theme songs. Then he mixes it up and puts in a blender and sings all of them in a mind blowing medley. He's doing it now. Whoo, he's going to a friends house for an hour. Now, I can hear the rain falling and it is so peaceful.

Chasing potty-A potty learning adventure

Well, all I can say is wow. My dear sweet babe woke up bone dry Today. I put her to bed at 8:30, she woke up at 6:30. Right now we are encouraging her to sit on her potty, but instead she is doing an interpretive dance routine that would amaze even Simon Cowell ;o). My older DO's are making a potty area in her playpen. My DS went and got a small tub of water to wash up in. All babe wants to do is take a bath with her duck. I put her in the warm water and about a minute later she peed. Oh, what fun!

Nothing tonite, typing while sleeping

Good evening or is it morning now. I don't have a deep philosophical musing tonite. I feel very brain dead while I type this with my eyes closed. I'm listening to my daughter's light snores, the computers fan humming, and the neighbors overhead, their dogs, a couple of jack russells, chasing the family's cat down the hallway. Thinking about tommorrow, planting more in the garden, teaching DD about coins and how they add up, and DS maybe More history about NYS. We're reading Charlotte's Web right now a couple chapters at a time. Gotta pratice cursive for him and three letter words for her. DBD is taken be her new seat and up at the table with the big kids. Well, like I said nothing to deep. Good night or is it Good Morning.?

The sky is always greener on the other side

Well, somebody once asked me what color the sky was in my world, they were commenting on my weird outlook on things and not being so nice to me. I just shrugged and told them green. I live in my world and visit yours, but I like mine better. My grass is blue, my house is brown, my hubby pasty white and my children rosy. My favorite colors are earthy. When the mind controlling box is not running my favorite sounds are of nature. Thunder, wind rushing through the trees, birds squawking at each other or singing songs. My children playing chase and laughing their fool heads off because the baby has a cold and can blow bubbles out her nose. Yeshua guides me when I am not to stubborn to listen. I live by His grace. He provides for our needs and shows us how silly we are in our wants.
